Hello? Is this thing on?
#FenderMirrorFriday Am I doing this right?
This is ancient and off topic, but it is still one of my favorite videos of all time.
Anyone watch Graveyard Customs on Velocity? I swear, Steve Carell must have studied this guy for the role of Michael Scott on The Office.
Apparently, not so subtle joke way too subtle for some.
68 and sunny tomorrow and I have a day off. Sounds like some topless Spyder weather.
The Houston Auto Show starts Wednesday. No worry about big crowds fighting to see the C7 or new Cayman, since neither will be there. Sigh...
Thought y'all might enjoy a little E46M3 engine porn. Took this yesterday while replacing the throttle position sensors on my son's car.
OK, bought me a truck. '95 Nissan Hardbody regular cab XE, 2.4 liter 4 banger with a 5 speed. 58,000 miles and one owner. Seat and steering wheel have been protected with covers since new and are perfect. Unfortunately, the paint has had no protection since new and will be a challenge to restore. Ordered all new…
OK, looks like I might have found a truck. 95 Nissan with 60K, one owner, 4 cylinder and the proper number of pedals. Has a fairly large dent in one door and some hideous AutoZone wheel covers, but looks good other than that. Going to go look at it this afternoon. We'll see.
I know that last night I said it was my last post concerning the C7 styling, but I lied. Does anyone else think that the little quarter window is keeping it from being immediately recognizable as a Corvette, based on its heritage? I would love to see a picture of one with the quarter window photoshopped out.
Huh. I wander over to C&D's website and it appears that there were several interesting cars introduced at the NAIAS today, such as the entry level BMW 320i, a Z4 update, the new Chevy & GMC trucks, the new Quattroporte, and a 550 horsepower Cayenne Turbo S among others.
One more C7 post and this is it. Do you see anyone copying any part of this design, and, if you do, when you see it will you immediately think 'Corvette'?
The great thing about craigslist is that you get this sort of animal, the Toyota Cavalier.
I guess we ain't gettin' no QOTD today...
